So my research has taken me to Eileen Denza, a woman who I now greatly admire.
Denza is the woman whose defining commentary on the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic Relations with precedent and practices that can be used in international court to this date. I think she is a great starting point for further research into diplomatic relations because of how crucial she is to the field. However all I could find from my usual sources, were commentaries on the commentary, and smaller articles written by Denza, which were useful in their own rights but they were something I had to settle for as every source I tried to finds wanted to charge me $400 for a copy of her work published. Since I couldn't find anything from the sources already paid for or access for free I had to consume as many free articles related to her work and writings outlining how the VCDR is practiced in real life situations. This has led me to focus mostly on Diplomatic Immunity and as of now I have been reading about when it was used on the complexities behind it but there have been some less reliable articles citing immunity abuse, so I think that is where my research will take me next week.
